Bruce King Komiske, FACHE, is a healthcare executive and expert in planning, building, and engaging communities in creating world-class children's hospitals and healing environments. He has used his expertise to lead many teams that have set new standards for creativity, design excellence and family-centred care, including the award-winning Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island and the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Valhalla, New York. He is the editor of the two previous books in this series, as well as 'Heroes: The Story of Hasbro Children's Hospital' (ISBN 978 1 86470 346 7) and 'Maria's Wish: The Story of the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital' (ISBN 978 1 86470 146 3).
