The field of Data Reconciliation have been around since the 1960's. This book is a comprehensive overview of all the relevant material since that period.
I bought this book as a reference for work on an M.Eng in the field. It only recieves 4 stars, since the style is sometimes 'wordy', and you have to concentrate to get the point. However, there are very few if any errors, the treatment is thorough and comprehensive, and the references are exhaustive if you are interested in further reading. Value for money.
There are not many books in this area, but if you are wondering if you should purchase this one or the work by Romagnoli and Sanchez, buy both! There is obviously some duplication of material, but both books contain information or discussions not treated in the other, and so compliment each other rather well. I found it handy to have both open at the same time.
