常に最高傑作をリリースし続けるキリンジ。今回もその例にもれず。エレクトロ風味の「Ｇｏｌｄｅｎ　Ｈａｒｖｅｓｔ」でアルバムを包むテーマを暗示しつつ幕開けると、王道のキリンジポップス路線「自棄っぱちオプティミスト」、ブルージーな導入からフィリーダンサー風サビに展開する「柳のように揺れるネクタイの」と続く兄作の３曲。特に（３）はシニカルな歌詞も含めてある種変態美ここに極まれり（もちろんほめ言葉です）、こんな曲他に誰が作れるの？
一転して「アメリカンクラッカー」「鼻紙」は「スウィートソウル」で一皮向けた弟のメロディメイカーぶりが遺憾なく発揮される。シングルカット級の美メロ曲が何気に中盤にポンポンと配されるんだから贅沢というほか無いアルバムです。「ロープウェイからこんちには」は♪こ〜ん〜にち〜は〜♪のハーモニーも軽く笑いを誘うユーモラスな兄曲。続く「ＣＨＡＮＴ！」は渋くキメたロックな一曲（弟）。こういう曲を説得力を持って聞かせるのは難しいだろうな〜って素人ながらも想像できます。先行シングルの「ロマンティック街道」は無機質なんだけど妙に耳について離れない印象的なエレポップ。
この辺で終わっちゃっても文句無いくらい大満足なんですが、ここからが最大の山場。♪君の全てをかき消すぜ♪のシャウトがクールな「愛しのルーティーン」、美メロとロックのかっこよさが絶妙にブレンドされた「Ｌｕｌｌａｂｙ」（共に弟作）。（１０）は「ブルーゾンビ」や「むすんでひらいて」なんかを思わせる弟らしい楽曲なんだけど、磨きぬかれた完成度に絶句。続く「Ｌｏｖｅ　Ｉｓ　Ｏｎ　Ｌｉｎｅ」（兄作）〜「ブルーバード」（弟作）と、もう脂が乗りきったというのはこういう状態をいうのだろう、としか申せません。日本が世界に誇るソングライターチームの傑作です。

一曲目の兄ちゃん作の「Golden Harvest」で新境地を開いてみましたってことですか。
以前のセルフカヴァー集「オムニバス」で見せた、アナログな電子音や打ち込みドラムを多用したテクノ風の曲調を導入。今までの作品に
見え隠れしていた作曲面でのスティーリー・ダンの陰が全く消えて、オリジナリティが格段にアップしている。
テクノ風の曲調では兄ちゃん作の「自棄っぱちオプティミスト」や弟作の「CHANT!!!」や「ブルーバード」が素晴らしい。
アナログテクノ風のピコピコした曲なのに、気持ちよいメロディといい、無闇に壮大な曲調にならずにきちんと渋いバンドサウンドとして
まとまっているところなど、この路線は（でも？）大成功しているといっていい。
兄ちゃん作の曲は歌詞が相変わらずの独特のシニカルさが光っているのだが、後半のホーン多用のジャジーな作風で「Love is on line」
といった名バラードを作り出している。本曲は多分新たなキリンジのスタンダードとしてAOR路線の名曲になるだろう。

今までのファンなら満足して聴けること間違いなしだし、一回聴いただけでとっつきやすくしっくりくるテンポのよい曲も
増えていて、新規のファンにも訴える力を持っている傑作。自信を持ってお勧めしたい。
もともと曲作りが上手い人たちだったけど、ますます上手くなってるな〜というのが正直な感想だ。それでいて初期からのイメージを
壊さないでいてくれるところがとてもユーザーフレンドリーで嬉しいですね。

セルフプロデュースになって、かなりエレクトロな要素が増えましたが
それがまた絶妙に今回のめくるめくキリンジワールドにフィットしています。
緻密なアレンジ、優しくてダンディズム溢れる弟さんのボーカル、遊び心を忘れない歌詞、そしてなによりお兄さんの変態的な作曲センス何回聴いてもため息がでるほどかっこいいです。
とても素敵な大人の音楽
あえて難をいえば少しマニアックな方向に行き過ぎて敷居がちょっと高くなってるんではないかと笑
ベストソングは
『影の唄』渋すぎです!
試聴で1、2回聴いてもこのアルバムの良さは解りにくいと思うので購入→毎日一回聴くのをおすすめします。音楽愛好家だけで独り占めしてちゃもったいないって!
