三池監督の作品を見るのは初めてでした。鑑賞後の感想を一言で言うと「うそ〜ん」…。

哀川翔の暴れん坊ぶりや、竹内力の眼力のすばらしさはこちらにおいておいて、プロットが、普通ふつう…結構ふつう…。何で、この人は有名なのだ？と思っていた時に受けるラストの衝撃は、言葉では表せません。「度肝を抜く」「驚愕のラスト」とは、正にこのこと。ラストで、あっけにとられる方が多いと思いますが、私は、つぼにはまって笑いが止まりませんでした。男の熱き戦いを描いた作品で、心の中に生臭さを残さず、こうも「あっけらかん」と終わるものを見たことはありません。

好き嫌いが分かれる作品だと思いますが、この衝撃を味わうために、一度は見ておきたい作品だと思います。

結末を人に言ったら信じてもらえなかった。「そんな映画がある訳が無い！！」と。
まあ、そんな「珍映画発見」の嬉しさはあった。
ほんっとに、あのラストにはお口をポカーンと開けたまましばらく固まってしまいました。
なんたってＶシネ王の竹内力＆哀川翔が夢の共演してるのだから、ただでは終らせねーぜ！！と気合が入ったのでしょうか。
大好きな映画『不動』のように劇画チックな面白さもあり。監督は同じ三池さん（節操も無く妙に多作の人）。

前半のシーンからは想像も付かない驚愕のラストです。
娘の病気やら何もかも全ての設定を吹き飛ばす最後は必見です。
ディープインパクトもアルマゲドンも真っ青な衝撃は見てみないと分からないです。

Ｖシネマの帝王、竹内力と哀川翔の初顔合わせは、恐るべき結果となった。怒涛のカット割りのプロローグから、想像を絶するエンディングまでノンストップで突っ走る。
