Suhail M. Islam is associate professor of English at Nazareth College, Rochester, NY, where he teaches world and comparative literature, Asian and Asian American experiences, and linguistics and communication. His published works include many articles on literature and language and a chapter titled "The Wretched of the Nations: The West's Role in Human Rights Violations in the Bangladesh War of Independence" in Genocide, War Crimes, and The West: History and Complicity.
