If you want to read this book as gripping and thrilling detective stories, they will never betray you.
However, there would be no objection if I state that the stories of Sherlock Holmes are an excellent collaboration
between science and literature which has been generated as a result of 19th century Enlightenment , brilliant success of human knowledge.

For example , it was a foggy night, just as the moon appeared , the inspiration came into the detective ..... ,
the attractiveness of the stories is not only the tricks of the mysteries and Holmes's plausible solutions for them but also
there is always a moment in each stories , which the readers are excited by the detective's super ability as if being given by God or nature .

This book has no introductions or explanatory notes. It should be preserved in your bookshelves forever .
Beautifully decorated book, it is not so cumbersome than you would expect .

The Holmes's somewhat charming character included, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle , his stylistics is to be also worth being reread again and again.

I would like to recommend the readers to know about Joseph Bell who is famous for real Sherlock Holmes.

Baker street in London, feeling the generation , atmosphere and concomitantly sense the Scottish culture, where they were born.

通勤電車で立ち読みしたかったのでkindleバージョンにしました。
100円でどっさりとホームズが堪能できるので大満足です。
実はこれまで探偵モノにはほとんど興味が無かったのですが、今はハマっております。
面白いもの、興味があるものを読むと英文読解も早まりますね＾＾
iphoneでは残念ながら挿絵が見られませんが、気にしない方にはとても良いと思います。

とても分厚いです。旦那さんにまくらにされるくらいです。
内容はすぐに目次、ストーリから始まり、解説などうんちくが苦手な私にはぴったりでした。
この値段でこんな分厚く、素晴らしい商品が購入できるなんて感謝感激です
