Kyocera has since become a global leader in high-tech ceramic and electronic products. In 1984, Inamori established DDI Corporation (now KDDI). One of Japan’s leading philanthropists, he established the Inamori Foundation and created the Kyoto Prizes, prestigious international awards given to those who have made outstanding contributions to the progress of society. I have read the Japanese version, so as many friends of mine. We experienced this book as life altering. The author Dr. Kazuo Inamori, the founder of 2 Fortune 500 companies Kyocera & KDDI and now the CEO of Japan Airlines, is a man of ultimate integrity.
