Nice guide but very basic

I purchased this book with hopes that it would help prepare me for my boards for CNS. When I received the book I was shocked to find that it was a very easy read. However, it in my opinion is very basic only providing common sense stuff that could really apply to several professions. I had expected that it would breakdown the role of the CNS based on the NACNS statement, but it did not. I think the book could be of some use to very young professionals but experienced professionals need not buy.

a resource I return to again and again. from preparing for an interview to personal evaluation keeping me on track - I use this regularly and have loaned it out to others a few times as well - so valuable they have now bought their own copy! Highly recommend.

I wish I would have had this book while in school it helps has helped me with so many things such as: job descriptions, interviewing, time management, working with your boss, and establishing credibility. This book is well worth the money if you are a CNS or a student buy it!!!
