冬場の事務所は、家の地下室のすみっこ。
今回の依頼は、クラスメイトのLucyが失くしたコインの捜索。
最後にそのコインを持っていたのは、

もともと英語の勉強のために読んだのだが、それだけにとどまらない作品だった。
人が他の人をどれほどの先入観をもって観るか、人を識るということ、親しくなるというのはどんなことなのか。当たり前のことのようで、なかなか表現することが難しい心の動きが、あたたかく描かれている。
多文化社会アメリカの状況にもさりげなく触れられ、描かれた世界に深みを与えている。

Modern, cool detective

Jigsaw Jones is a modern detective. He talks like children talk today, he is "cool", and children can identify with him. It would be unfair to say that "The case of the Christmas Snowman" is his best case ever because all of Jigsaw's cases are good. My children love him and collect all his books, this one is no exception.

Hello readers! Jigsaw Jones and the Case of the Christmas Snowman is the second book in the series. It's about a guy named Theodore Jones, but since he loves to do jigsaw puzzles and solve mysteries almost everybody calls him Jigsaw Jones. Jigsaw owns a detective agency with the help of his partner Mila.
In this book Lucy Hiller, a girl in Jigsaw's class, gets to take her dad's rare coin to school. She lets a guy named Bigs Maloney hold it, but then it disappears. They suspect Bigs, but they don't know for sure.
If you like mysteries you would like this book because Jigsaw is a great detective. I like the part when Jigsaw and Mila ruin Bigs's snowman and find the rare coin. Have fun reading!

I purchased this for my Grandson, he really enjoys this series. I have never read these books personally, so I must go with his opinion.
