内科の各論が始まって買って、まだ腎臓のところを少ししか読んでいないのですが解剖や、生理のことがとてもわかりやすく書いてあって基礎を復習しながら臨床ができるのでとても重宝しています。

僕のように、英語が不得意なものが洋書を読んでみたいという人が一度内科を勉強した後に、こういうものって英語でどういう風に言うのかなっと考えながら読むにはいいのかも知れません。

Cecil Textbook of Medicineのサマリー的な本ですが、本家に劣るなどということはなく、むしろ読みやすくなっているので枕もとでも読めるという良さが最大のメリットです。言うなればアメリカ版「病態生理できった内科学」。図や表のためだけに買ってもまったく損はしません。英語が苦手な人たちにとってもコストパフォーマンス高し。解剖から病態生理まで、もう一度復習したいな・・・という人に是非おすすめ。
