とても満足のいく商品である。第一に見た目が素晴らしい。高級感あふれるデザインであり、つい外に持ち出したくなるカメラである。電源ボタンは少し押しにくい位置にあるように感じるが、ホールド感などは私が今まで触れてきたカメラの中でも最高峰の出来映えであるといえる。操作も直感的に出来て非常に扱いやすい。本体はかなり大きめな印象を受けるかもしれないが、私の実感としてはちょうど良い重さ・大きさであり、長時間構えていても疲れることはない。画質はさすがキャノンと思わせるものである。派手すぎることのない色合いで、精密な画作りには圧倒される。ただ、暗いシーンは若干苦手であり、暗所ノイズが多少気になる場面もある。起動の速さやズームレバーの操作性なども私の期待を上回るものであり、非常にいい買い物ができたと思う。

　一眼を使っていて、動画にも興味のある人に最高のお勧めです。他社のライバル機に評価的に負けているところがありますが、自分で設定を扱える人ならばこちらのほうが楽しいです。いくら暗いところでノイズが少なくても、ピンボケでは意味がありません。一眼で血眼になってピントを追っているのに、ビデオカメラだと無頓着な人が多いのには正直あきれます。ＡＦ精度（顔認識）は、間違いなく現状で最高の機種です。
　ボケの話で言うと、この機種だと顔にピントが合っているときは背景はボケています。そのボケ味は好みかも知れませんが（いろいろレビューされてますよね）、他の機種では味わうことのできない世界だと思います。普通のビデオカメラでボケの話ができるのは、多分、こいつ位では？EOS VS IVIS、将来が楽しみです。
