However, I do not love my ineptitude related to all things craft-y. This kit allows me to pretend I do not have the artistic ability of a 3 year old, and it contains some of the bits and pieces that I am too lazy to go to a craft store and buy for myself! I got this as a gift for several people and each LOVED it.

I am a prime member and this package was supposed to be here in 2 days, but I got it in 1 so that was nice a surprise. Bought this for a friend who is addicted to the cake pops at starbucks. She said she likes it and that it just might spark her creativity.

these cake pops are really cool and bakerella does a great job of breaking it all down. However, I found that the recipe is hard to recreate and the final product would take a lot of practice to mimic. I made basic cake pop and everything was a mess. A word to the wise, prepare well in advance of when you want the cake pops so that you can practice. Also, I found the frosting too sweet and will definitely try cream cheese for the "glue" next time. I am still working on perfecting my cake pop. As for this book, it is great and would make a fun gift to a crafty person.
