雨の休日やゆったりした時間を過ごしたい夜、
綺麗な夜景を見ながらのドライブの
雰囲気作りにはぴったりではないでしょうか。

そんな大人なアルバムだと思います。

また、Fayrayの音楽に対しての姿勢
深い思い入れみたいなものが感じられます。

タイトルどおり、FayRayが数々の洋楽カバーに挑戦したアルバムであるが、FayRayの声で、これほどしっとり歌われれば、悪かろうはずはない。曲によって、凡庸さを感じさせるものもないわけではないが、アルバム全体を通したレベルはかなり高いと言ってよいだろう。洋楽ファンも納得できるカバー集として評価できる。尚、10曲目のあとにシークレット･トラックとして"My Foolish Heart"が入っているが、これがBill Evansの"Waltz for Debbie"に収められた同曲の演奏の完全コピーで笑える。かなりリリカルにピアノは弾いているが、蛇足と言えば蛇足。Fayrayがどんなにピアノをコピーしたところで、ベースもドラムスもBill Evans Trioの世界を再現するには無理がある。それがシークレット･トラックたる所以か。

Fayray初のカバーアルバムで、収められている曲は全部英語の曲です。NYでプロデュースされたが原因かどうかわからないが、これまでのFayrayよりロックテーストなサウンドですけど、全アルバムはしっとりと聴こえて、彼女らしいの音楽センスが溢れてます。特に勧めるのは「Heaven」、「Dreams」と「Moonchild」です。邦楽の曲はカバーしてなっかたのが惜しく思うが、それ以外には完璧です。
