通算19枚目となるシングルは、11/21より全国ロードショーの映画『曲がれ!スプーン』主題歌としての書き下ろし楽曲。ピアノがリードしながらパートごとに表情を変えていくトラックは、「生で演奏することにこだわった」と言うとおり、絶妙なアレンジで伸びやかなヴォーカルと絡み合い、YUKIの新たなチャレンジを感じさせる楽曲に仕上がっています。映画『曲がれ!スプーン』は、今や最もチケットを取るのが難しいと言われる演劇ユニット「ヨーロッパ企画」の上田誠の原作・脚本を、「踊る大捜査線」シリーズの本広克行が監督し、長澤まさみが主演、彼女をとりまく個性的なエスパー軍団を小劇場界のオールスターキャストとも言うべき面々で固めた、まさに09年の年末を飾る豪華な作品。観た後に心がほっこりと温まるエンディングを「COSMIC BOX」が感動的に締めくくります。M2には、08年11月に配信限定でリリースされたYUKIソロ初のクリスマスソング「メッセージ」を初CD化で収録。
