この本では最初に韓国語の発音を付属ＣＤとともに学び、第２章であいさつから時間、日付の表現など簡単な決まり文句を理解し、続く第３章では見開きのダイアローグをもとにシンプルかつ実践的な表現を１項目ずつ学べるようになっています。第４章では文章の書き方、さらにありがたいことに巻末には、覚えて役立つ表現がシチュエーションごとに掲載されています。
難しい文法の説明は極力押さえて、全くの初心者でも理解できるような構成になっていて、これ一冊にきちんと取り組めば、ある程度自分の意志を伝えることができ、とくに旅行会話レベルならこれで十分かと思われます。
私はこのテキスト一冊のみで繰り返し勉強していて、今は３回目に突入していますが、十分に力が付いてきている実感があります。

　韓国語の学習本を選ぶにあたって、絶対に生かしたかったのが
私の英語学習の経験です。
　高校３年間はひたすら入試対策で一生懸命英語を‘勉強’した結果、
今でも文法や語彙力は今でも残っている。でもいざ話すとなると、
何も口に出てこない・・・。よくある話です。その為、高校卒業後は
ひたすらフレーズのインプットを続けてます。

　だからこそ、新しく韓国語を始める際に同じ失敗は繰り返したくなかった。
憶えたことそのまま使えるフレーズをメインに、かつそれだけでは何の
進展もないから実力に繋げる為に文法も学べる本を探していました。
それがこの本です。実はこの本に出会う前に別の本で韓国語を学び始めたの

ですが、その本は文法中心でいかにも'勉強’してます感が拭えなかった。
この本は旅行等で使えそうなフレーズだけでなく、文法もしっかり網羅して
いるのが魅力的です。初心者の今はこの本をしっかり気負わずにやりたいと
思っています。

車で聞きながら覚えようと買ったのですがCDが日本語のあとに韓国語・・・という録音でなく韓国語のみの録音なので本を見ながらでないと覚えられません。したがって車内での勉強は不可能でした。
電車通勤などにはいいかも。
