よくできている本です。会話、そして文法と無理なく進められるようになっています。説明も必要以上に文法用語を使っていない点に親切さを感じます。

セルビア語とクロアチア語の違いもちゃんと説明しています。これから、別れていくであろう言語ですが、現状認識もしっかりされているものと評価できます。巻末に近いところではキリル文字表記のテキストもあります。初心者向けによく配慮してあり、挫折しない工夫が見られます。

なおこのテキストはどちらかというとセルビア語の教科書です。クロアチア語を学ぶ場合、違いを意識しておいたほうが良いでしょう。とはいえ、セルビア語、クロアチア語両方ともの言及があるので、一冊で二度美味しい本です。

それぞれの方向に進む場合は、他のテキストに当たっていけばよいでしょう。

セルビア、クロアチア、ボスニア・ヘルツェゴビナなどを旅行する前に、半分ほど学習してからいきました。結果、かなり役に立ちました。個人的には、エクスプレス・シリーズの他言語のものに比べて構成や説明も分かりやすく、良かったです。

セルビア語とクロアチア語の違いについて解説している箇所もありますし、本来の言語学上の分類は「セルボ・クロアチア語」とまとめられていたわけですから、どちらかを集中的に勉強したい方は、これを踏まえて別の学習書にステップアップされればよいのでは。

改定されていればよいのですが、基本的にセルビア語の本です。

外国人なのでセルビア語でも許容されますが、まだ内戦の記憶は拭いきれていないので、
クロアチアではセルビア語はあまりいい顔はされないことを認識されたうえであれば、
コンパクトにまとまっていてよい本だと思います。
