カンボジア語特有の難解な字の構成、特に子音の脚、母音との組み合わせが理解しやすい。あたかもパズルをしているかのように楽しいが、９課から突然　発音記号がなくなり少しとまどい対応表と見比べて学習している。
　CDを聞いて発音だけの学習ではなく、文字の読み書きも最初から
同じくらいに学習する必要があると思う。

巻末には簡単な単語集もついていて初学者には重宝する。
カンボジア語でCD付は多く出版されてはいないので、この本はお薦めである。

4.0 out of 5 stars なかなか, 2009/5/11
結構いいと思います。
ただし、８課（全２０課）から発音記号がなくなるので、難解なクメール文字をできるようにならないと、この一冊の半分すら終われない。
あー。厳しいなあ、クメール語。自宅で学校に通わずクメール語習得するのは、相当厳しい。
それでも、CDの性能がいい（ゆっくり発音してくれる）ので、入門には最適な一冊であることは間違いない。とりあえず迷ったらこれ。これで挫折したなら、自力でのクメール語習得は無理だと思う。多分。
