I wanted to visit the Grand Duche of Luxembourg again. Last time was in 1961. The book was truely helpful. It helped you get around using the trains and buses. You can buy a 4 euro card on the bus for a day and travel all over the place for four Euros. If you buy a 10 Euro Luxembourg Club Card, you get admission to General Patton's Museum, the Art Museums and Catacombs and other sites for free too. It is a great deal. I stayed at a Cottage room in Heiderscheid at Fox Den Camping {FUUSSEKAUL) Ground for a little over 40 Euros a day for the two of us, as it was in late August and not high season. The Cottage Apartment had two bathrooms with each having a shower, central water heating,a kitchen,
walking distance to a good restaurent, grocery store, camping supplies and buses. From there I learned to take one of the 4 buses to Ettelbruch and said a silent thank you to General Patton. Although he was an American General, he wanted to be buried there with his men and his family agreed. There is a Train Station there in Ettelbruch and you can travel to the City Of Luxembourg and see it and learn some of its past which goes back to Roman times. The place was called the Gibralter of the North. The book also told you which buses to take and it is sure nice not to have to drive. You won't go wrong with this book. I just wanted a guide. Not a 3 volume History of the country.
