okay for someone without internet access

Ms. Coget has put together a nice book that could serve as a good introduction to boutis and trapunto. However, for a craft as beautiful and traditional as boutis, the history, examples, patterns, and instructions are sorely lacking.
I purchased this book looking for more detailed "how to" explanations and examples than I could find online, and I was disappointed. The examples I had already seen online were far more intricate and the video clip I downloaded for free by Marie Yolande was far more helpful than the basic instruction offered in this book. Unfortunately, after reading this book I still have too many questions.

Boutis & Trapunto

I have never done much needlework but became interested in boutis. This book is helpful and has good descriptions and some nice project ideas. It has more trapunto than boutis, so I was a little disappointed in that. But overall, I am satisfied with the book. As a beginner, I found it helpful.
