Actual cases from a real and very busy suburban ER. As you follow along the timed and dated notes as they came off the chart, you get a sense of what the ED physician was thinking. Meanwhile you know that something is amiss. I agree with the previous reviewer, these are lucid little mystery thrillers. Each takes maybe 10-20 minutes to read and then you end with a well documented best-practices commentary from Greg Henry. Perfect for medical students, primary care physicians and ED professionals. Frankly other non-medical members of my family picked up the book and enjoyed it. Well worthwhile.
