I first read about Queen Blanche in Four Queens: The Provencal Sisters Who Ruled Europe, and was fascinated. I did have to search a bit before I found this book, and I'm very glad I did!
Despite the fact that the book is 30 years old, it is a wonderful read! It really gives a great insite in to not only Blanche's self, but her family and the world in which she lived and ruled. A fascinating and captivating read about this tough, brilliant lady & mother of a Saint!
