知りたい情報が何でも書いてあります。全て英語ですが、辞書片手に読んで、クリスマスのＷＤＷに行くのを楽しみにしています。ホテル情報、レストラン情報、アトラクション、ショー、どこでどのキャラクターに会えるかなどなど・・・日本語の本を何冊も読むよりこの一冊だと思います。
10年以上前にWDWに行った際にも購入し、今回も日本語のいいガイドブックを探しましたが、ここまで詳しいガイドブックには出会えず、また購入しました。毎年新しいものが出ていて、さすがofficialなだけあってきちんとした情報が載っています。officialなだけに、堅苦しい点もありますが・・・今まで何年もこのガイドブックを作ってきただけあって、他にはない情報も載っています。英語なので読むのに面倒ですが、英語があまり得意でなくても、興味があって、WDWに行って目いっぱい楽しむために情報をきちんと事前に知っておきたい方は頑張って読めると思います。全てのアトラクション、レストラン・・・の情報が載っていますから。

Get this with The Unofficial Guide

I really like Birnbaums guide. It will tell you all the good at WDW but not so much about the bad or even the ugly. For that kind of impartial and unbiased information I recommend The Unoffcial Guide to Walt Disney World. Birbaums is great for first time visitors but veterans will already have a good handle on the information provided. I like the way the information is presented and organized, the book does a good job of giving a thorough overview of what Walt Disney World is and all that it encompasses. This guide can help a first timer or even a return visitor decide on what they would like to do and see. Birnbaums will provide all the magic for your trip but for a good dose of reality one should purchase an Unoffcial Guide to accompany this book.

DON'T GO TO WDW WITHOUT FIRST READING THIS. UNBELIEVABLE NUMBER OF HINTS AND SUGGESTIONS. YOU'LL KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AT WDW. What a great organized book. I highly recommend it to all visitors and a " must buy " for first timers.

I have relied on Birnbaum for years, they are the best at covering Disney and strategy to get the most from your visit. However for Orlando in general Fodor's is more comprehensive. If your are only going to Disney and are staying on a Disney property get the Birnbaum. If you are staying off property and doing things other than the Disney parks, get Fodors. Both books should be available in your library, see which you like best before you buy.
