I have three of these types of books now. They are perfect for all crafting. I down loaded all the pictures into folders by book and then page so they're easy to find. I use the books as a reference to find the clip art. My reason for 4 stars is several little flaws. The clip art on the cover of Birds and Butterflies isn't offered in the book, not any part of it. I thought that was strange as when you go online that is all you have to view so it should be included.
In Lace Images, Memories of a Lifetime series, the clip art isn't always individual or whole. There is a beautiful example in the Gallery of Ideas of four ladies in hats they fused onto fabric and made into a greeting card. The four ladies are only available with lace border on the sides and a calling card on the bottom, all overlapping their hair and clothes. I worked for 45 minutes removing the lace and cloning the dresses and hair back onto the ladies. In other books, they offer the art separated.
My favorite is French Pages by Instant Memories. As someone mentioned, the card stock is heavier quality. But for me, the images are all individual. Where their example for use is overlapped, you still get the whole image to use your way. Love this book. There are vintage ladies in black and white that I colored lightly to look like water color. Beautiful and easy to use.
I'm looking forward to getting more of these CD's. You won't be disappointed which ever one you get.
Happy crafting.
