　他のレビューを読ませてもらうと、「夕日の」「浜辺で」「のんびり」等の形容がしてあります。まったくその通りだと思います。とてもリラックスできます。そのように評した皆さんは、聴いたことがない方々に分かりやすく表現されているのだと思います。また、サーファーからの転身ということもあるかもしれません。
　でも、気に入った方には共感してもらえると思いますが、雨の街中を小走りで、仕事のアポに遅れまいと急いでいるとき、また、些細なミスを上司にクドクド注意されているとき等、ふと上の空になった瞬間に流れてくるような、いや流れて欲しい、日常生活のサウンドトラックという気がします。
　何枚出しても内容がいっしょ、との声もありますが、こんな気負いのない感じはなかなかあるようでないので、似たような違う曲をたくさん聴きたい、ハマったぼくらには良いのかもしれません。毎日少し違うけど、似たような日々を過ごしていますからね。

とてもくつろぐこのCD。最近はめっきり有名になってしまったJack Johonsonですが、これが一番知られてて、よくいろんなショップとかでもかかっているのを耳にします。いろんなジャンルのミックスした感じは、やはり才能をかんじさせます。アコギの音色とすこしゆっくりなテンポが好きな人は、きっとまちがいなくはまるとおもいますよ。

何の予備知識もなくなんとなく購入した。彼がベースにしているハワイアンサウンドはただひたすらピースフルでハッピーというやわな方向に走りがちでどちらかと言えば単色的なサウンドが多い。だが、Jack Johnsonその人はハワイアンサウンドに自分の色をたっぷりと塗り重ね厚みのある油絵然とした多彩なサウンドを創出することに成功した。力を入れ過ぎず抜き過ぎずにいる絶妙な立ち位置がなんとも言えず気持ちいい。技巧どうこうではない喜怒哀楽を感じさせるギターのカッティングも最高だ。もちろん快晴の浜辺でカラッと聴くのも良いのだろう。だが、仕事帰りの怠惰な夜道を軽快にしたい、が、テンションを上げ過ぎたくはない、どこかメローでいたい、そんなときにこそ是非聴いてもらいたい。先入観無しに聴いて頂きたいお勧めの一枚だ。
