About the Author
Though born in California, Michael Graham grew up in the small, rural town of Pelion, SC where he spent his formative years "running from large, hairy people named 'Bubba,' many of them women." He was named valedictorian of Pelion High (he was the first person not to use a "k") and went on to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK.
Graham spent six years on the national comedy circuit, workign with people like Robin Williams and Jerry Seinfeld who stole his best material which is why they're rich and famous and he's shlepping around doing radio, not that he's jealous.
In 1992, Michael began his career as a Republican political consultant as a statewide coordinator for Pat Buchanan. He has since worked from some sane candidates, including 50 GOP races in IL, NY, NC and SC.
Graham is currently a radio talk host in Charlotte, NC, where he writes his weekly humor column, The Usual Suspects. He also writes for National Review and other conservative publications, and he maintains his own website
Graham is married to a lovely, talented and intelligent woman (who is reading over his shoulder right now) and they have three children. But it seems like a lot more.
