マルク・アンタイの演奏によるバッハのフルート・ソナタ集。ＢＷＶ１０１３、１０３０、１０３２、そしてＢＷＶ１０２７と１０３９の「合成版」（フラウト・トラヴェルソとヴィオラ・ダ・ガンバと通奏低音によるトリオ・ソナタ）の計４曲が収録されている。録音は１９９８年５、６月。

Ｍ・アンタイのトラヴェルソは、軽やかで歯切れのいいくっきりとした音色が特徴だ。冒頭の無伴奏パルティータも気持ちよく聴ける名演である。ＢＷＶ１０３０、１０３２ではピエール・アンタイ（チェンバロ）、さらにＢＷＶ１０２７＋１０３９の「合成版ソナタ」ではジェローム・アンタイ（ガンバ）と兄弟たちの巧みなサポートを得て、新鮮で若々しい演奏を繰り広げている。

ＢＷＶ１０３２は楽譜の後半が紛失している第１楽章は省かれ、第２、３楽章のみ録音されている。これは少し残念。できれば他の録音のように補筆・復元するか、あるいは現存している前半部分だけでも演奏して第１楽章も収録して欲しかった。

ピッチはＡ＝３９５くらい。録音状態も良くクリアで美しい音色を存分に楽しめる。

マルク　アンタイは、まだ日本ではそれほど聴かれていないし、ソロ録音自体も少ないが、このバッハのフルートソナタ集でトラヴェルソ奏者としての天才的資質を明らかにしている。曲目はバッハの真作として認められている四曲のソナタのうちロ短調と、イ長調の第二、第三楽章のみを選び、それに無伴奏パルティータとガンバソナタをフルートトリオソナタに編曲したものを加えている。無伴奏ではかつて聴いたことが無いほど流麗で安らぎに満ちた表現を堪能できるし、大曲ロ短調ソナタでも全く気負いの無い、しかも音楽の本質を聴かせる演奏家であることを示していて興味深い。使用楽器は、深みのある低音と艶やかな中高音を持つI.H.ロッテンブルグで、彼の高度な音楽的要求にも良く反応している。
