Well written and a useful guide in most work applications. It does have a downfall when it comes to certain areas, such as the SRS system and codes. Another area is that of bodywork and dash layout... if fact most of the electrical is left out, unless you can read the schematics supplied in the back. No wire harness/current flow layout to mention. Precautionarys are laid out, but most is just common sense.
Overall, a good book to have for the garage/home mech as far as a general reference, but not recommended for a detailed overview of the cars layout or specs, in essence... NOT a true service manual. No specs. IE: Try and find a section relating to clutch pedal hight adjustment. There isn't one.
Repair is a gloss over and takes the assumption that it used by one that knows the car and work procedures already. In otherwords... you have done this before in one fashion or another.
Again, a good book for the garage and quick reference, although lacking in info.
