この作品は大好きで、ＤＶＤ−ＢＯＸも持っていたのですが、やはり好きな作品はＢＤに買い換えたくなりますね。
でも、期待通りの商品化でした。
リマスター版とデジタルマスター版の2種類の本編が収録されており、実は音も2種類ともミックスを変えているそうです。
自分はデジタルマスター版の方が絵も音も好みでした。
二つを見、聴き比べられるのもこの商品の魅力ですね。
是非、お勧めします。

画質はかなり良い。
暗いシーンが多いものの、暗部までしっかり情報がある。
DVD版を持っていますが、もはや別次元の絵と音です。
ただし、特典は全てSD画質。内容的にも一度見れば十分。
パイロットフィルムや予告はHD画質で見たかったので、残念。

短い時間でテンポ良く展開するので最後まで飽きさせない。
いくつかの謎を、一から十まで全て説明しないのも好感が持てる。

確か、Blu-rayソフトのラインナップ初期に上がっていたソフトだったと思うのですが、（ダ・ヴィンチ・コード同様
2006年にソニーからアナウンスされていたタイトルだったかと）タイミングを損ねたのかいつの間にか埋もれ、丁度
実写版の公開タイミングに合わせてアニメ版が発売になりました。

DVDもデジタル・リマスター版を楽しんで観た記憶があるのですが、やはりBlu-ray版は背景等細かい部分の情報量が
多く、臨場感が違います。

音声もロスレスのサラウンドリマスターとPCM2.0chが入っており、最新フォーマットにも対応出来る状態で収録され
ているのが良いです。

後の「攻殻機動隊S.A.C.」のメインスタッフ達が関わったデジタル制作の劇場アニメという事で、押井守作品の好きな
人にもお奨めのクオリティのこの作品。触れずにいるのは勿体ないです。

発売時期はある意味商売っ気が多い気もしますが、これをBlu-rayのクオリティで再び観て、実写版も見に行きたくな
りました。
（工藤夕貴の小夜も最高です。そういえば昔彼女はCMで小夜の様な格好で「お湯をかける少女」っていうのをやって
ましたね。）
