具体的なMIDI等の打ち込み技術についてはあまり深く言及されておらず、新しく追加された機能や最近のDTM事情を紹介しているという内容。どちらかと言うと新機能であるオーディオ編集の方に重点をおいている。ソフトに同梱されている解説書の方が詳しく書いてありますが、こちらの本の方がより理解しやすい書き方ではありますね。DTM経験者にとってはあまり必要としないかなと。これからこのソフトを使ってみたいと興味をお持ちの方や、表現の堅い説明書の苦手な方には、強くお勧めできる内容ではあります。

Singer Song Writer8.0VSを購入して、どうしても付属の操作ガイドでは理解できず本書を購入。しかし、おせじにも初心者向けに編集や説明が工夫されているとは言えず、非常に理解しにくいです。何より困るのは操作方法よりも、機能の説明に重点を置いているところ。読み終わった後、Singer Song Writerのソフトのすばらしさはよくわかるが、使えるようにはなっていない。正直付属の操作ガイドとリファレンスの方がよっぽど役に立つと言えるでしょう。
