相変わらずの脱力系の剣道部の物語です。５人目として東聡莉を引き入れるため、部員があれこれと策を練ります。でも、入部しないので、ミヤミヤが半ば脅しとドジな東に剣道で推薦入学という殺し文句で入部させます。入部した東はタマちゃんに次ぐ手練れです。練習試合になり、ミヤミヤをつけねらう小田島礼美の姿が。けど、暴走、ドジっ子、真面目、不良と脱力顧問とそろいも揃った癖のある部員たち。果たしてどうなるのか？この巻の表紙は東聡莉です。スポーツものも色々とありますが、最近のスポーツものは根性物から脱力系になっていますね。時代の流れなのか？

バンブレ待望の５巻目です
今回は他校との練習試合＋東入部の話です
作画レベルは以前よりちょっと上がっている気がします
それでもどこか下手なところが残っている気がしますが…
相変わらずキャラクターがどの子も可愛いですね
外観としても性格面等の個性としてもどの子も気に入っています
デフォルメキャラの可愛さは異常です
ギャグの面でもマンネリ化しない楽しさがあります
この物語はタマちゃんや他メンバーの剣道にかける青春＋成長物語と同時にコジローの成長話だと思います
チャランポランな大人のコジローもいつかはかっこいめしますい大人になると思います
「その一週間がきっと一生に役に立つように…」という台詞は中々感慨深かったです
剣道の試合は剣道については無知な私でも楽しめます
キリノによる分かりやすい解説は助かります
しかしタマちゃんがあまりにも強く今の所どの相手でも圧勝しているせいか（一度棄権されてうやむやになりましたが）、何処か緊張感が浮かんできません
前巻で「一度同年代か年下の女の子に負けた方がいい」と言われていましたがどうなるんでしょうか
ちなみにこの漫画を読まれて楽しめた方には作画の方のHPに行ってみる事をお勧めします

5.0 out of 5 stars ６巻の表紙は誰？, 2007/4/29
高校剣道部（かなり弱小）の個性的な部員たちと、イマイチ教師らしくない顧問教師の
日常とか部活動とかを描いたあまりスポ根らしくないスポ根マンガの第５巻。

絵は可愛いし話もまったり風なので一見騙されやすいが、剣道マンガとしても秀逸。
生き生きした表情、凛々しい道着姿、緊迫の対戦場面、火を噴くような太刀筋。
とにかくカッコいい。

高校剣道マンガの名作というと真っ先に浮かぶのが村上もとか氏の『六四三の剣』。
その次が浮かばないのは秘密。
それとはかなりベクトルが違うし、どちらかといえば河合克敏氏のニューウェーブ
ジュードーコミック『帯をギュッとね！』に近いものがあるかも知れない。

個人的に「ヤングガンガン」購入の最大の動機。
今後の展開に激しく期待。
