Sunlight is beginning to spill across the Malibu coastline as I begin this Preface. And the deep indigo tint of the Pacific Ocean at this time of the morning seems to match the depth of pleasure I'm feeling as I'm imagining the value you're about to receive from the revelations within this book. Ask and It Is Given is certainly a book about our "asking" being answered by All-That-Is. But it's primarily about how whatever we're asking for is being given to us - and it's also the first book to ever, in such clear terminology, give us the simple practical formula for how to ask for, and then how to receive, whatever we want to be, do, or have. Decades ago, while searching for plausible answers to my never-ending quest to know what "It" is all about, I discovered the word ineffable (meaning "incapable of being expressed in words"). Ineffable coincided with a conclusion I'd formed relative to It. I had decided that the closer we get to knowing the "Non-Physical," the fewer words we have for clearly expressing It. And so, any state of complete knowing would also, therefore, be a state of ineffability. In other words, at this point in our time-space reality the Non-Physical cannot be clearly expressed with physical words. Throughout physical history, we've evolved to, through, and into billions of philosophies, religions, opinions, and beliefs. Yet, with the billions upon billions of thinkers thinking, concluding, and passing their beliefs on to the next generations, we have not - at least not in any words we can agree on - found physical words to express the Non-Physical. This book offers you a hands-on course in spiritual practicality. It's a how-to book in the broadest sense of the term - that is, how to be, do, or have anything that pleases you. This book also teaches you how not to be, do, or have anything that displeases you.----Jerry

In this life I have been fortunate and blessed enough to encounter some truly amazing books (some I have written reviews of here at Amazon) and for that I am eternally thankful.
This book however is somewhat unique. You could say that the wisdom this text offers the reader encompasses most of what I have read (of this genre) elsewhere, only here the presentation, order and format is not only VERY accessible, and very easy to grasp, but it fills in the gaps and expands upon the wisdom presented elsewhere. Whilst other works in this field might present pieces of the puzzle, here we are given the full box, with no missing pieces and easy to follow set of instructions. And what is the picture we are making? Happiness, bliss and well-being; a tranquil heart and a deeper understanding of life. You might say that this book is the sound from which the others became the echo; I thought they were sounds in their own right but not entirely.
The essence of this book is that basically anything is possible if you align your self (your vibration) with the vibration of that which you want, the book uses many simple analogies and metaphors to explain clearly how you can go about doing this and to explain why we are not all meeting with the success which we are due. Surely once you have read this book a good deal more of the clouds will clear and the sun will shine brighter. You may realise that what you thought was the truth or reality (in terms of reaching your goals) can often be the opposite and that we most often drive away what is waiting for us.
I am totally enamoured with this books, and here I must confess I am only half-way through. Why am I reviewing a half finished book? Well, because I feel that these teachings are SO special that everyone should read this book, and if I have a chance to help persuade the reader of this review then I'd like to share my views thus far, and then amend the review when I finish reading.
A couple of things that intrigue me about this special book is that firstly I don't even remember buying it, nor know why I even bought it. You can see from my reviews some of the books I read and I suppose I ordered it with those? I don't recall... and because of its size and weight it sat on my shelf waiting for the thinner books to get read. Last week when they were all done I had a choice of two books (two that suit being read on a commuter train) and this one won - for no particular reason, other than it was slightly lighter... I wish I had read it sooner!
One amazing thing about this text is that it makes me smile. That doesn't sound so amazing...? but I mean I am reading the pages on the train and I'm grinning madly at the joy, wisdom and love contained herein and people are looking at me like I'm crazy! HaHa, most amusing. But I have to confess, I haven't smiled this broadly for an age. With that in mind, I sincerely hope it brings the reader as much joy and happiness and clarity as it has brought me at this early stage. Thank you.

「運命が好転するスピリチュアルトレーニング」が評価が低かったため、
原書を購入しました。
わたしは英語を勉強中ですが、
英語教材には興味のある文章が少なくてやる気が出なかったため、
自分の興味のある分野を洋書で音読や読解用として購入しました。
CDも同時購入です。
結果大正解でした。
英語のレベルはまだまだ途上ですが、
英語が苦ではなくなってきました。
先を読みたいという気持ちがあるからだと思います。
本に直接、単語や熟語の意味を書き込んでいって、
音読するということを今はやっています。
CDはシャドーイングしようと思いますが、
とにかく、しゃべるのが速い！！（とくにジェリー）
今はまだ速くてついていけませんが、時間をかけて練習するつもりです。
CDは本の内容をそのまま読み上げてくれていますのでとてもいいです。
それから、
この本がとくに英語教材に良いのかはわかりません。、
興味のある分野の本が良いのだと思うので、引き寄せの法則を

This is a nice book but I found FREE YOUR MIND by Anthony Stultz Sensei to be more practical and it gives us the original Buddhist version in a contemporary language.
