私はデザインが好きで旧Cinema display (20inch ADC)を使用しています。これとMac miniを組合せたいと以前から考えていたところに新型miniが発表され思わず飛びつきました。しかし意外な落とし穴が・・・。付属のMini-DVIコネクターに純正のADC-DVI変換を介してADC Cinemaにつないでも画が出ません。サポートに問い合わせると動作保証していないとの事（09/03/08現在）。で、最後の望みがこのMini DisplayPort-DVIでした。サポートでも確認はとれないとの事のなので（Cinema displayをアップルストアに持ち込み確認を勧められたけど無理！）ダメもとで購入したところ無事画が出ました。私と同じ環境の方は少ないと思いますが、この手の情報はAppleのHPでも探せない事が多いので参考までにレビューしておきます。
古い規格のADCですが購入前に調べる手段がHP上に無いのはユーザーに不親切ですし、Mini DVIって名前だと変換機を介すれば映るだろうと早合点する人（私）がいると思います。Appleはもっと各モデルの動作確認情報を迅速にUpしてほしいと思います。

mac book466と外部ディスプレイとしてBenQ G2400Wを接続するのに用いています
まったく問題は見当たりません

ディスプレイ付属のオス型DVI(-D)ケーブルに
この商品を変換アダプタとしてつなげて使用しています
シンプルな作りで、これ以上もこれ以下もないというかんじです

iMac24インチのやつと外部モニターとの接続に使うため購入。(DVI-D)。
それまで使っていたibookとはアナログ接続だったけど、このアダプタによってデジタル接続が可能になった。
画質は、それほど違いを感じないが、ちょっとすっきりした感じになったと思う。
モニターとの接続自体は極めて簡単。つなぐ部分がめっちゃカタイ、とかいう事もナシ。デザインも申し分なし。けど、単に外部機器と線をつなぐだけにしては、チョイ割高。
なので4点。
