私の人生で最も大切なものがこの一枚のアルバムです。このアルバムと共に人生を歩んできたような気もします。様々な分野で才能溢れるアーティスト達が傑作と言われる作品を世に送り出してきました。どれもこれも良いのですが、このアルバムだけは特別なもののように感じるのです。すべての人に是非味わってもらいたいと思います。何度も聞き返してください。ＣＤになって、レコードの頃のようにＡ面からＢ面にひっくり返す時の中断がないので、曲構成の斬新さがより際立ちます。今から３０年以上前のものですが、ジャケットも格好良いです。現在の音楽シーンの原点がここにあると思います。ジョン・ジョージやすらかに！ポール＆リンゴいつまでもお元気で！

ビートルズの最高傑作は「サージェント・ペパー」ということになっている。が、専門家はいざ知らず、ファンに1番支持されているのはこのアルバムだろう。頭の「カム・トゥゲザー」もカッコイイけど、ジョンはもう一曲、とんでもなく美しい「ビコーズ」をつくってくれた。ジョージ・ハリスンも頑張ってる。でも、このアルバムに1番貢献しているのは、やっぱりポールだろう。どう見ても全く関連性のないジョンと自分の曲をメドレーにして、どうしてもこうでなきゃいけない、と思わせるところまで形にしてしまった。

ジョンと比較して、ポールはどうも、という人がいる。でもそれはジョンと比べるからの話で、ポールだって本当に、凄い！　まあ、そもそもジョンとポールは凄さの質が全くちがうから、比較して!!もあんまり意味はないと思うけど。

ジョンとポールの二人の天才が、それぞれの才能を充分以上に発揮している。これを聴かないで死んだりしたら、本当にもったいない！

ゲット・バックセッションで崩壊寸前だった4人が最後に奇跡の団結力で放ったアルバム。前半では非常に完成度の高い楽曲に圧倒され、後半のロック・シンフォニーともいえるメドレーで更に圧倒される。ビートルズの構成力はほんとに凄いです。ハードナンバーもありますが、それも含めとにかく美しいのです。さらにこのメドレーの終わりを彼等らしく笑いとばすようなラストナンバーで締めくくっているところもこのアルバムのレベルを逆に高めています。僕の一番好きなアルバムです。これを聴いて感動せずにはいられません！必聴です！
