可愛いプログレ、人懐っこいシューゲイザー。 未来のノルウェーで生まれ18世紀のイギリスで育ちでもしなければこんな「ヒンヤリと温かい」音楽は 出てこない筈。本当に日本人?ていうか地球人?

アーティストについて

2001年、松村(gt/vo)、石川(ba)、森(dr)の在学中に、母体となる「ZiggyStardust」を結成。翌年、学生仲間と「トータルエンターテインメント」の具現化を掲げて劇団「劇団海老名珈琲」を立ち上げ、「Ziggy Stardust」のトリオに、ピアノ、弦楽四重奏、フルート、ハープを加えた「ダイアモンドダスト音楽団」名義で音楽を担当する。芝居の空気感、質感を演出すべく、ピアノソロからエレクトロニカ、アバンギャルドまで幅広く作曲、演奏。所謂ミュージカルともまた違う形で、音楽と他の表現媒体との、有機的な相乗効果を生み出すことに尽力、成功する。2005年には同劇団で、埼玉県小川町立欅台中学校の演劇鑑賞会に出演し、同校の学生、教師から好評を得る。同2005年、バンド名を「ミーティア気象台」と改め、5曲入りのCD を制作。その中の「四月のパヴァーヌ」が、モナレコード監修のコンピレーションアルバム「素晴らしき自主制作の世界」に収録される。同年、有栖川ソワレ(fl)、有栖川マチネ(pf)が加入し、現在の編成となる。現在は、下北沢モナレコード、秋葉原クラブグッドマン、吉祥寺manda-la2等を中心にライブ活動を展開。今回の作品が、初の公式リリース音源となる。現在は来るべきフルアルバムに向けての楽曲を鋭意制作中。

高水準。使い方が違うのかもしれないけれど、
ハイブリットという言葉が浮かんだ。いろんな
要素が、丁寧にきれいに並べられている感じです。
覗き込んで、手のひらにのせて、ぎゅっと握って
しまいたくなるような、いいCDでした。

音楽をよく知っている人が作っているのだろう。
手にすることのできる3分間の中に、色々な仕掛け
を盛り込んだ、よくできたおもちゃのような音楽。
繰り返したり、音を大きくしたり、最近ありがちな
ずるをしていない感じ。職人さんのようです。
メロディ限界論がささやかれる中で、やさしい解釈を、
メロディを、パッチワークのように切り取って、
3分間の舞台の中に詰め込んでいる。
それはオルゴールの箱をのぞきこむのに似ているかもしれない。
寺山修二の「赤い糸でとじられた物語」のようで、
オスカーワイルドの悲劇のようでもある。もしかしたら、
九州のハウステンボスかもしれない。

ジャケットの絵も、静かで、音がしてくるようで素敵。
今はCD屋さんだけでなく、データでも音楽がやり取りできるけれど、
久しぶりに「持っていたい」CDだと思う。

元カーネーションの矢部さんのコメントにも納得。（ファンです。）
いったことはないけれど、ヨーロッパの音楽、っていう感じだ。
こういうのを発見してくれるレーベルさんは立派だと思う。
大満足。早くフルアルバムがききたいです。
