はっきり言って癒し系の物語です。どこらへんが癒し系なのかの詳細はネタばれになるので避けますが、読んでいて絵の描写や表現、またストーリーも一貫して自然と心を和ませ癒やしてくれます(雰囲気は表紙の絵そのままの感じです)。

話のアップテンポな展開による面白さや、あるいは軽く読んであまりに表面的な面白さを求めているという人には、あまり良い作品とは感じないかもしれません。ですが、人間ドラマの面白さも良いですが、さらに登場人物、キャラクター達の言っていることや、作者の表現したいこと、といったものの意味を少し考え、意識して読むと素晴らしい作品になると思います。
正直私は結構前に最初読んだ時は軽く読んで表面的な面白さを求めていたせいか、そこまで良い作品だとは思えませんでした。ですが現在はちゃんと読んでみて素晴らしい作品だと思っていますし、とても好きな作品です。特に癒し系の話が好きな人には、おすすめです。

個人的には、登場人物たちのギャグの感じも好きで、私にはそれも癒やしの一つになっています(笑)

あと補足しておくと、「AQUA 1 (BLADE COMICS)」「AQUA 2 (BLADE COMICS)」がシリーズの第1巻と第2巻にあたり、このARIAの１巻がシリーズの第3巻にあたります。

近未来の火星「ＡＱＵＡ」に栄える地球のヴェネツィアを模した街「ネオ・ヴェネツィア」を舞台とし、主人公・水無灯里が一人前の水先案内人（ウンディーネ）を目指しながら個性ある友人や先輩とすごしていく、きらきら輝いた素敵な日常を描いたこの作品。

この作品には、ただのようだけどただの日常ではない、太陽のように暖かく、大自然のように透き通っている日常があふれていました。

私は読んでいる内にこの作品の世界観にドンドン引き込まれ、心の中がぽかぽかしてきてしまいました。時には言葉に出来ない不思議な涙がこぼれそうになるときもありました。まさに癒し系と呼べる作品です。

日常の生活に疲れたそこのあなたへ、この作品を手にとってネオ・ヴェネツィアで素敵なウンディーネさんと一緒にきらきらした日々に心を癒されてみるのはいかがでしょうか？
私のでっかいオススメです。

ネオ・ヴェネツィアの秋。
主人公の半人前ウンディーネ、水無灯里は今回も修行をのんびり（？）頑張っています。
未来なのにどこか懐かしい町や人々。
前作「アクア」に続き、今回もしっかり現代人を癒してくれてます。
今一番、おすすめです。
