もう、ダメです…、この本ナシに生きられません(苦笑)。
その位、僕にとって、カヲルくんは、大きな存在となっています。
この本を手にした時、24話を見た時の感覚が蘇ってきました。
新劇場&旧劇場版、TV版、コミック版、イラスト、コラム、フィギュア…などなど、どのページを開いてもカヲルくんがいます!(アタリマエですが)
個人的には、さだもと様のコミックのダイジェストとインタビューがオススメです。読んでいてすごく楽しかった(笑)。
あんの様のインタビューもあったら、もっと良かったかなぁーと、ゼイタクな事考えたりしてますが、もう1冊買いたい位、カヲルくん好きな僕には、今までで最高のカヲル本ではないかと思ってます。
発売日から毎日、愛読させていただいております(笑)。

・すみません、まず愚痴
目玉の一つである貞本義行さんのロングインタビューは、大半が貞本コミックス版のカヲルについてでした。これは当然だし仕方のないことではありますが、アニメ版カヲルについて少ししか触れていないのが寂しい。TVシリーズ終了時の庵野秀明監督によるアニメ版カヲルについてのインタビューでも再録してくれたら、少しはバランスが取れたかなと思う。
新條まゆ氏・桂明日香氏・美水かがみ氏による漫画、これらはなんですか？最悪なのが桂氏の作品。カヲルファンにはBL好きしかいないとでも思っているのでしょうが、この手のものが吐き気がするほど嫌いな者もいるということを解ってほしい。グラビアアイドルの写真は本当に意味不明。版権画のチョイスがやや不満。貞本コミックス版のカヲル登場シーンを延々と載せるくらいなら、今は手に入りにくくなっているTVシリーズ弐拾四話準備稿でも載せてくれたら、この本の価値が上がったんじゃないかと思う。まあ、高望みしすぎが。
・良かったところ
貞本さんのインタビュー、幾原邦彦監督のインタビュー、名越康文さんのインタビュー、谷崎テトラさんのレビュー、水玉螢乃丞さんのレビュー、藤津亮太さんの数々のコラム。とても面白かった。プラス、作り手のカヲルへのおかしな（褒め言葉）愛。そして摩砂雪さんの描き下ろしイラスト。これは嬉しかった。

まさにカヲル尽くしの本でしたね。
コミックスの抜粋も、私としてはよかったかと…いちいち原作を本棚から出さなくて済むし（笑）、解説もついていたから。
でも、タレントさんからのラブメッセージとか、グラビアアイドルのアレは……どうかなあ？　
無かったほうが良かったかも。
