Over seven hundred pages pack in nearly four hundred color illustrations in A YEAR IN FASHION, a lovely gift book formatted as a year's worth of two-page full photo spreads in both black and white and color. Each day features a photo facing a detailed caption, short text, quote, and room to note birthdays and important dates. This just missed Christmas mention but for anyone with holiday money to spend and an affection for fashion - it's an unusual 'must have'.

I was disappointed in this purchase. Each day, a different fashion icon, witty saying, or supermodel was featured. But it was very repetitive, lots of Christian LaCroix and some pretty odd stuff. I guess if you are like me and enjoy the golden days of couture and old Hollywood, pass on this one.
