　この商品、倒産した旧ＬＳの金型を有井が買い取り生産している商品です。当時はこのクラスでは７１系のマークU、クレスタ、チェイサーの人気の影に隠れてしまい不人気車となってしまいましたが、はじめてX型６気筒エンジンを採用するなど技術面では高度なものでありました。

　またこのキット、説明書には記載されておりませんがノーマルはもちろん、ハの字車高短、ヒップアップなどの車高を選択することができるなど結構楽しめるキットです。アオシマから発売されている「○改パーツ」シリーズのタイヤホイールなどでドレスアップすれば当時っぽい仕上がりがたのしめますよ。
