著者について
1961年京都生まれ。東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程彫刻専攻修了。2001年7月に第20回平櫛田中賞を受賞。2002年に個展「ANIMALS02」(西村画廊、東京)が開催され、2007年から「三沢厚彦ANIMALS+」が全国5会場を巡回し好評を博す。作品集「ANIMALS」(求龍堂)「ANIMALS+」(求龍堂)などを出版、今最も注目されている木彫作家の一人。
