私にとっては、RPNだとか利回り計算だとか、そんなことはどうでも良い。
とにかく、このプチプチするボタンが病みつきになるのです。

最近ＲＰＮ入力を知り、今年いっぱいしか手に入らないという記念モデルを購入しました。届いてすぐにＲＰＮ入力にはなれることが出来ました。簡単な計算なら、ごく普通の電卓と代わらない程度で入力できます。日本語で式を理解できればとっても簡単。でも他の電卓を使いこなせるのであれば、不要かもしれませんね。
デザインはとても良いです。売れ続ける理由がわかります。耐久性に問題なければとてもうれしいです。それは今後わかることですが。机の上、引き出しの中、カバンの中、どこにあっても存在を主張しています。キーボードのタッチもとてもよく、計算しているんだなあと実感します。ケースや色使いなど記念モデルの特典を感じられればよい買い物だと思います。
ただ、ＲＰＮ入力を使用しないのであれば、この電卓の存在意味はないと思うので、星４つです。入力には慣れが必要です。

僕はhpのrpn入力がとても好きで気に入って使っています。入力には慣れが必要という方々もいらっしゃるようですが、そもそも普通の電卓の使用方法が癖づいているだけで、rpn自体の入力はいとも簡単で便利です。計算結果は勝手にレジスターに入るため、普通の計算機みたいにメモリに記憶する必要はありません。ですので複数の計算結果同士を再計算するのも無意識にやってしまいます。hp-12c financial calculatorは初代ゴールドモデルと、platinum モデルのシルバーモデルとブラックモデルがあり、どれもデザインは一緒です。20年以上もデザインチェンジしない機器というのはそれだけ優れていて、スタンダードを極めたものと思います。hp-12cだけで２モデルで３色もあるのに、わざわざ２５周年記念モデルを発表したというのはマニア・コレクター向けに位置づけてということだそうです。なかなか手に入らないモデルですので、見かけたときは僕も買うようにしてます。コレクターなので。他のReviewerの方々がおっしゃるように、キー入力の感触は心地いいものがあります。基本的に任天堂DSのような大きさ（もうすこし大きいかな。。。）なので両手の両親指で操作するのがカッコ良しです。
