Napoleoni’s books, including Rogue Economics: Capitalism's New Reality (a Publishers Weekly Best Book of 2008) and Terror Incorporated: Tracing the Money Behind Global Terrorism, have been international bestsellers and are translated into eighteen foreign languages. A longtime activist, a former Fulbright Scholar at Johns Hopkins’ Paul H. Nitze School, a Rotary Scholar at the London School of Economics, and chair of the Club de Madrid countering terrorism financing group, Napoleoni has traveled widely in the Middle East and around the world. Puts Everything into Perspective

Excellent book detailing 2001-2011 in "tweet-like" entries, totally 167 pages. Kind of like a very, very detailed timeline of the Earth and it's geopolitical/cultural events. I read the front page of the major papers every day but today's page 10 news sometimes in hindsight has page 1 reverberations so I actually learned quite alot about what has happened in the past decade. The other great thing about this book is that it covers the entire world - so while reading it you get a real sense of the world as a SINGLE entity. You see small infections take on cancerous proportions in later years, you see small local teams become major league players - all in very readable and easy to digest text. Highly recommended.
