前巻は少し死神さんで遊びすぎたのでは？という感じ
でしたが、４巻は新キャラも登場して心機一転という
雰囲気でした。

特に注目したいのは、インドの執事アグニとセバスチャン
の試合ややりとり。
今までのセバスチャン最強というありていな展開ではなく
新しく信仰という考え方を持ち出したことによって深み
のある展開になっていきます。アグニがシエルの使用人達
と仲良くなっていくシーンが、色々な意味でセバスチャンとは
違うタイプの執事なんだな、と思いました。

後半でセバスチャンがソーマにキツイ進言をしますが、
アグニには言えない理の通った言葉で印象的でした。

続きがとても気になります。

最後に「こういうオチかよ」と思いつつも、コロコロ忙しかった展開をもう一度見直したくなる巻でした。

前回の「切り裂きジャック事件」は先があっさり読めて微妙でしたが、今回の最後のオチのような、こういう折り返しはなかなか面白かったです。暴力的な闘争で終わるだけの漫画なら腐るほどありますから、これからもうまく緩急つけていって欲しいところです。

しかしボケキャラが随分集まったもので……おかげで伏線が上手く活かされたといえますが。

次巻の完結編も楽しみです。

インドとヒンドゥー教絡みの知識があると、3割増くらいに楽しめるかもしれません。

はるばるインドからやって来た一人の王子と"執事”。シエル達と敵対するのかと思いきや面白い展開になってきました。物語も楽しめて巻の最後にある”目的”も意外でいいアイディアと思います。

前半はキャラのやり取りや絵がギャグっぽくなって正直、それで終わってしまうんじゃないかと不安でしたが、後半は多少のギャグはあるものの立て直してシリアスっぽくなっていたので安心しました。アクションシーンも徐々に良くはなってきたと思うし、１巻から比べるといい方向に向かっているんじゃないでしょうか。もう少し、シエルの過去に前進を持たせてもいいかもしれません。1巻から同じような過去の語りなのでそろそろ大きく動いてもいい感じです。

次巻が楽しみです。
