初めて読んだときの衝撃は未だに忘れられません。私たちが子供の頃からなんとなく、知らず知らずのうちに身につけていた貞操観念や結婚観を、寺山修司の独特な観点によって軽妙に覆されてしまったからです。

女性を取り巻く様々な感情や現象に対し、いろいろな角度からこれまでの観念の正当性や信憑性を投げかけてきます。本当に今まで信じてきた考えがが正しいものであったのかどうか、疑わしさを持たせてくれるのです。
彼の唱えるような「青女」として生きるかどうかは別にしても、これまでとらわれてきたものに対し、疑念を抱くことによってその背景を考えるようになります。そこから自分なりの価値観を見出してゆくこと、価値を磨いて生きてゆくことへの重要性に気づけるようになる本です。

また、著者は固定観念を覆し、創作活動や芝居などでかつて誰もやらなかったことへ挑んだ為に前衛派だといわれていますが、その前提には自分なりの観点をもって古い書物などを読みこみ、彼なりに消化し、引用することを忘れていません。歴史や伝統、文学を省みた上での著者の観点もきちんと見直すべきだ感じました。

『家出のすすめ』が男のバイブルだとしたら、この『青女論』は女がどう生きるべきかのHow To本。

セックスが今以上に特別な行為、というか聖なる行為とされていた昔に書かれている為、現代人の価値観からしたら多少の時差を感じるが寺山修司が本書で唱えていることはズバリすべて正しい。

トレンディーなドラマばかり観て、非現実的恋愛に妄想を膨らませている腐女子たちが読むべきリアルな本。世界中の女性がこれを読んでくれればヤらせてくれる女の子がもっと増えるかもしれない。

なにはともあれ、現在の寺山文庫のカバーは洒落っ気を出しすぎていて酷い。昔は気取らないイラストで素敵だったのに。間違ってるぞ、角川書店。

寺山修司に見られる「ひねくれた観点」で書かれた一冊。
私は青女、と言われる年代の人間なのでとても興味深いものでした。
特に「映画と青女の関係」について書かれた所があるのですが、そこは特に女性は必読すべきだと思いました。
女性としての質があがるかも。
