5.0 out of 5 stars 展開が早く、しかも読み応えあり, 2009/5/11
陰陽寮でもそうでしたが、富樫さんの物語の展開の早さには爽快感がありますね。
わたしは夢枕獏先生が好きなのですが、近しいものがあるような。
なんというか、状況設定はドライでキャラクターがウェットというか…。
わかります？？
暗黒時代小説の第一弾「蟻地獄」は未読なのでわからないのですが、この作品では特に殺陣のスピード感がゾクゾクするほど素晴らしく、読んでいて快感になるほどです。
ただのチンピラ色男の新之助が、優しい殺し屋新一になっていく様があれよあれよと進んでいき、面白いです。
スポーツ紙連載に加筆増強ということで、付け足し？みたいな所やあれはどうなったの？的な所もありますが、スピード感がそれを補って余りあり、です。


悪い奴らばかり＆割とグロい？＆盲人のお話なので、ちょっと映像化はできないかもしれませんが、（あれ？座頭市もそう？？）
実写になったらこのキャラクターはあの俳優に…などと妄想をして楽しみました。
（個人的に・・・監督は故深作欣二監督・端正な住吉勾当は谷原章介・お師匠芳一は蟹江敬三・岡っ引き三郎左は渡辺いっけい等々と思いながら読んでました。）

江戸時代で大坂（昔は坂なんですよね〜）が舞台の小説を読んだことがなかったので、その点も新鮮でした。

一気に読める、（内容は）地獄（読み進み具合が）極楽作品です。
面白い！！私は大好き！

暗黒時代小説第2弾。これまた第1弾蟻地獄に劣らないボリュームでしたが、息もつかせぬストーリー展開にあっという間に読み終えてしまいました。しかし読み終えてみてふと気になったのは蟻地獄に比べると、ややストーリーに無理があったような気がしました。その一番の原因は、果たして主人公が盲目になることに意味があったのか？後からどう考えても眼は見えないよりは見えたほうが有利のような気が？その分が星−０．１かな。しかしとても面白い作品でした。
