4.0 out of 5 stars 銀英伝の外伝の5巻！！！, 2009/7/14
銀英伝は正伝10巻、外伝4巻で15年以上前に完結しています。
実際、この創元ＳＦ文庫以前の徳間の新書や文庫では発売されてません。

それだけに5巻！と飛びついてみたのですが、やはり書き下ろしではなく、
かつて色々な雑誌等に掲載された短編とインタビューをまとめたものでした。
銀英伝のファンで雑誌などマメにチェックしていた方には既読のものだと思います。
私も全編既読でしたが、本編を読んだのが10年以上前、それらの短編もはるか昔に
読んだものだたので、ほとんど忘れており、とても楽しめました。

ラインハルトの豪奢な金髪の描写や、人物たちの時代がかった話し方、
門閥貴族たちの傲慢な体制などかつて何度も読んだ正伝の雰囲気を思い出しました。

それはラインハルトやキルヒアイスの若き日の思い出とともに、自分自身の
ノスタルジーを喚起させるものでした。
もう一度、正伝、外伝14冊を読んでみようかな、と思いました。

収録されている５編中４編は若き日のラインハルトとキルヒアイスの冒険譚で、
同盟軍サイドの好きな人には少し物足りないかもしれません。
インタビューはこの作品もファンであれば興味深く読めるものだと思います。
