個人的に気になるのは、それまでの展開がおざなりにされている点ですね。
この16巻の半ばから、バーディーは第3部に入るのですが、その第3部の内容が
唐突というか、それまでの流れに沿っていないというか・・・。
別に、今の展開がつまらないと言っている訳じゃないです。しかし疑問に思うのは、
いつまで経っても第1部、第2部でばら撒かれた伏線が回収されない点。
作者も忘れてしまってるんじゃないかと思うほど、長い間放置されているキャラや
伏線が沢山あるのがどうも・・・。
今後の展開が見放せないのはもちろんですが、もうちょっと複数のエピソードを
同時進行させるとか、そういう気配りも必要なのではないでしょうか。

御堂別邸での氷川との決戦に終止符。そして、新章突入です。
氷川、つとむ、バーディーらの心証を丁寧に描き込んでいて興味深いです。
大戦中からの氷川の執念の描き方が特に濃密。
また、クリステラ・レビの介入が意外に早かったことも分かります。
ゴメスがビースト狩りに乗り出しますが、その強さは圧倒的。
旧作の描き方以上に強敵ですね。

新章、千年の鼓動は序の部分です。

おまけ漫画には、懐かしのゲストキャラが登場。

アニメ化企画進行中・ヤングサンデーにて絶賛連載中の鉄腕バーディーの19年7月発売の最新刊です。
16巻では氷川との決着がつき、新章「千年の鼓動」へと移行していきます。

雪国の温泉に残る謎の腕、そしてミイラ。それは古代にアルタ人が地球に飛来・移住したときの遺物だった。
つとむはライターの室戸に伴われてその温泉宿へ宿泊することになるが、何とそのお宿には「彼女」に瓜二つの女性がいた……

……しかし、いつにもまして書店で購入するには勇気の要る表紙となっているので、こんなときこそAmazonを活用すればいいのかもしれません。
