　部長になり、仕事の幅も広がった。初芝電器貿易に出向し、ワインの
輸入を手がけたり、サンライトレコードへ出向し、会社の建て直し、そ
して新人歌手の売り出しに取組んだり・・・。課長時代は仕事そのもの
よりも、社内の派閥抗争に巻き込まれたり、女性達との関わりの場面が
多かったが、さすがにビジネスの場面が中心になった。

　作者の関心が伝わり、入念な取材がなされたことも伺える。その結果
課長シリーズ以上にストーリーも精緻になり、絵も細かくなって楽しま
せてもらいました。全１３巻一気に読みきりました。

　取締役シリーズも時間があれば読んでみたいと思いました。

一言でいえば、サラリーマンのためのハーレクインロマンス。
（悪い意味ではありません）
日常からしばし離れてカタルシスを楽しんでください。
明日の仕事への活力がわく・・・かも？

今話題のＭ＆Ａに関する問題から新たな物語が始まる。前作から代わらないのはその描写の浅さ。問題はすぐに簡単な解決を見せる。ただ、敵対的Ｍ＆Ａ（買収）の弱肉強食性を見る事ができた。マンガでは買収を仕掛けた側を悪者として描いていて結局敗北するのだが、現実では同だろうか。その他、リストラ、愛など中年社会人が抱えているであろうさまざまな問題が盛り込まれている。
