「本当の話」ほど感動するものはありません。どんな逆境であっても夢を実現しようと努力すれば、手をさしのべてくれる人もいれば、理解してくれる人もいる、とこの映画は訴えかけてきます。原作の「ロケットボーイズ」も読みたくなってしまいます。この映画の最後にながれる実際の人物の古いフィルム観ると、さわやかな感動とともに涙があふれてきました。又、特典映像でも実際のホーマー・ヒッカムが語りかけてくるので、より感動的でした。

NASAに本当にこの主人公が居るんだと思ってみてください。すごいでしょう？夢は見なければいけないし、叶うと思わないと現実にならないし、何よりやってみなくっちゃ！そう、あなたの夢も、叶うかどうかなんて入り口でぐずぐずしないで、とにかくやってみよう！若かった頃、あの時あんなに熱中していたのに、なんて思うあなた。とにかくやってみよう！叶うかもしれないのだから。

見てさわやかさの残る作品でした。 原作(ロケットボーイズ)の雰囲気もしっかり出てました。父役の役者さんが渋かったです。
