美樹本晴彦さんが描かれているということで購入しました。
絵は言わずもがな美麗です。当時のマクロスの作画クオリティーは非常に不安定だったためこちらの美しさが際立ちました。
キャラクターのデザインは映画版、話の流れはテレビ版といった感じです。この話のペースだと終わるのはいつになるのかという気持ちもありますが、次巻の発売も楽しみに待ちたいと思います。

初代派のわたし（とはいっても、II・プラス・セブン・ゼロは見てなくてＦで復活）としては
「懐かしい！」の一言。
やはり美樹本さんの描くミンメイはかわいいですねぇ

ただ。
全般的に背景とかに書き込み・トーンが多く、ややうるさい感じになっているのは
デジタル制作の弊害でしょうか
＃元々こんなタッチだったような気もするけど（汗）
一方で、モーションブラー的な効果をうまく使って
動きに迫力を出しているのもデジタル制作ならではですが。

本巻ではとりあえずマクロスのフォールドまで。
続きが楽しみです。

コンセプトは安彦良和氏の書かれた
『機動戦士ガンダム　THE ORIGIN』と同じ。
当時のキャラクターデザイナー・作画監督によるコミカライズ。
その後に作成された様々な続編の要素も飲み込み
正に21世紀の作品に仕上がっている。

しかし20年も30年も前の作品が
現在も尚、商品として通用するのは
その間に産み出せたものはないのかと
若干、気になるところではある。

元祖美少女モノだけあって、そこはさすが。
ミンメイってこんなに幼かったっけ？って
自分が年を食っただけでした。
