　どうしても、赤ちゃん用のブーツを編みたくて、この本を購入しました。表紙のブーツは、写真で一つ一つプロセスを丁寧に説明してあったので、超初心者だった私にも簡単にできました。同じモチーフを使ったおそろいの帽子もとてもかわいい。すぐに出来るので、色違いでたくさん編んで、友人や親戚への出産祝いにプレゼントしました。ただ、他の掲載作品はちょっと初心者には難しいかも．．．というのもあり、初心者の方には、出来ればこの本の他にかぎ針編みの基礎の本を一冊用意したほうがいいかなと思います。男の子でもOＫなデザインもありますが、全体的に甘めのデザインの作品集なので、どちらかというと女の子向きだと思います。

本格的な編み物はした事が無いのですが、モチーフ編みは
かぎ針さえあれば、どこでも気軽に出来るので時々するように
なりました。きっかけは友人の妊娠。でも、その時に作ろうと
思った物はちょっと大き過ぎて（おくるみ）未だに完成せず。
昨年、妹に子供が生まれたのをきっかけに再びチャレンジ。

その際にこの本を購入しました。小さなモチーフがひとつ出来
るとまたひとつと、いつの間にか数が増えてゆきます。ベスト
でも、赤ちゃんのだったら結構、あっと言う間にできます。

編み物中級者以上の方は物足りなく感じるかもしれませんが、初心者にはちょうどいい内容です。
基本のベビーシューズの編み方は、ポイントごとに写真と絵を使って丁寧に解説されているので、初めてでも、ちょっと頑張れば編めるのではないでしょうか。モチーフ編みに慣れている方なら、集中して編めば、一日で一足ぐらい編めてしまうと思います。
かぎ針のモチーフは、一枚編むごとに小さな達成感を得られるのが魅力です。
